Fernley

Initially developed as an agricultural and ranching community, Fernley has seen its growth skyrocket in recent years. With mega-corporations like Amazon and UPS Logistics making their home in the small desert town, Fernley has had major job growth and invigorated the economy. In 2014, Tesla broke ground on their Gigafactory just 13 minutes from Fernley, bringing with it many new jobs.

Fernley offers a charming lifestyle that is steeped in western history and lore. There is an abundance of outdoor activities in Fernley, including fishing, boating and hiking.

While still a small town, Fernley's population is expected to surpass 30,000 by 2021. And, at only 30 minutes from Reno, and 60 minutes from Lake Tahoe, Fernley allows residents and visitors to experience all that Northern Nevada has to offer.
